Mojo Rods at 2006 Junior Championship
"Mojo Rods sponsors Minnesota's Junior Bassmaster World
Championship team"
The Junior Bassmaster World Championship will be held February
19th on the Harris Chain of Lakes near Leesburg Florida in conjunction
with the Bassmasters Classic. Each state will send two anglers
to compete in this, the highest level of fishing competition in
the world for youth anglers. During their competition, each junior
angler will be paired with one of the top B.A.S.S. professionals
from the Bassmasters Classic lineup. Representing Minnesota will
be Don Brennhofer in the 15-17 year old group and Adam Jorgenson
in the 11-14 year old group. Both young men won the right to represent
Minnesota by winning their respective divisions at the Minnesota
Jr. State Championship held on Prior Lake on August 18th, 2005.
Presenting the trophies to Don and Adam was Stacy Twiggs, National
Manager of Youth Programs for B.A.S.S.

Don Brennhofer is a member of the Gopher Junior Bassmasters from
the Twin Cities area. Don designed his 7' MH "Spiral Wrap"
pitching/flipping stick for fishing jigs in heavy cover. Primary
components include a St. Croix Avid blank, Pac Bay guides with
a SIC tip, exposed blank cast seat, and a 10 1/2" internally
weighted cork grip with a EVA mushroom butt cap. The guides are
wrapped with black thread using the Forham lock and metalic silver
trim.

Adam Jorgenson is a member of the Fairmont Jr. Bassmasters from
Fairmont MN, in the southern portion of the State. Don designed
his 6 1/2" MH cast rod for fishing plastic baits. Adam's
custom rod is built from a St. Croix Avid blank and features a
9" cork grip, closed cast seat, and double-foot Pac Bay guides
with a SIC tip. The guides are wrapped with black thread and metalic
red trim.
