Mojo Custom Fishing Rods - Pricing
Each custom fishing rod is a unique creation and the price is totally dependant on the components. We specialize in building functional rods that are used every day on the water with an emphasis on quality and functionality rather than decorative styling.
The overwhelming difference in price is found in the blank. We offer a variety of blanks from quality manufactures such as St. Croix and G. Loomis. Prices range from less than $50 to well into the hundreds. The choice is yours.
The second major price difference is found in the guides. Again, the choices are virtually unlimited. We recommend standard guides from Pacific Bay or Fuji if the rod will be used with primarily monofilament line. If the rod is to be used with the new "super" lines, we recommend upgrading the tiptop as a minimum.
For an additional $10.00 we will include a custom fitted rod cover sewn to fit your casting or spinning rod. This cover is constructed of rip-stop nylon and covers the rod from tip to foregrip, protecting it from the many bumps and bruises that inevitably occur in the course of a day in the rod locker. This custom fitted cover will be included free of charge for all casting or spinning rods $200.00 and over.

All rods are subject to a Federal Excise Tax of approximately 6% of the purchase price. These funds are used by the State and Federal Government to support wildlife and conservation programs.
Minnesota residents are subject to 6.75% sales tax on the purchase price.
